Skyward Sword Gets Studded in Gold

A special edition $69.99 bundle has been been announced for the upcoming Zelda game. According to Joystiq, a Wii Motion Plus is required to play the game, so the lovely gold-flavored Wiimote tailors to it, thankfully. Already have Motion Plus but still want the CD? No problem; both special editions and regular editions are coming with them. The CD will have songs from the yet-to-be Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Concert.

Majora’s Mask 3DS Remake “Is Not An Utter Impossibility”

Here’s one for all you Majora’s Mask fans out there. In a recent interview with Nintendo Power, Eiji Aonuma said that a 3DS remake of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask isn’t an impossibility - but it can be done if there is enough demand for it.

When asked about a possible Majora’s Mask remake, Aonuma had this to say:

“It’s been 13 years since Ocarina of Time was originally released, and one of the big things that we made this remake possible was that there was an outpour of emotions from people who said they would like to see this game done. We said we could do it in 3D, so we did. I think certainly if there was a similar output of emotion and clamor from fans for a remake of Majora’s Mask, it wouldn’t be an utter impossibility.

Thinking on it now, having a handheld Majora’s Mask where you could kind of just set things down on your own time - close it, set it aside and come back to it later - might be a game play element some fans will actually take to and might really appreciate. Especially considering how you really had to rush through the original game, in a sense.” —Eiji Aonuma, Zelda series producer

Submit Your Devil May Cry Fan Art to Capcom for Unannounced Project

The guys at Capcom posted a new blog post asking for artists to submit their Devil May Cry fan art so it can be featured in an upcoming project Capcom has yet to announce.

As you may know already, it has been ten years since the first Devil May Cry was released, so Capcom is hosting this Devil May Cry 10th Anniversary Art Competition. According to the post, winners of the competition will “receive a place in history when their artwork is featured in a new, to be announced Capcom game!”

Could it be a Devil May Cry HD collection? A totally new Devil May Cry game? Maybe a new game altogether? We’ll have to wait and see.
